Over the past few years, the interest in Chianti Classico wines has reached unprecedented heights. For this purpose in 2012 is established "Chianti Classico Academy".

The Chianti Classico Academy is located in the hearth of Chianti Classico in the village of Radda and seminars are held in the romantic setting of the old Convent of Santa Maria in Prato.

WSET professional wine courses are also offered by James Cluer Master of Wine at Fine Vintage in association with Consorzio del Vino Chianti Classico.

Afternoon
Review of the great principles of tasting, with many supporting olfactive and gustative exercises
Indigenous and International grape varieties of Chianti Classico with focus on Sangiovese grape.
Tasting of 3 wines (100% Sangiovese, Sangiovese Blended with Local Varieties, Sangiovese Blended with International
varieties)
Review of the notion of balance in wines and tasting 4 Chianti Classico wines

WSET COURSES

Level 1

The course is the perfect introduction to wine and lasts for one full day. There are plenty of delicious wines that we taste during the course.

Duration: 1 day (9.30 am - 5.30 pm)

Level 2

The course goes into much more depth and lasts three days. The study guide is mailed to you in advance of the course.
