Hosted by one of Fufluns’ experienced wine expert guides, this exclusive 4-day tour will take in the best wine areas throughout the region, where native reds Lagrein and Teroldego are made, along with Marzemino and Schiava, as well as sublime sparkling wines and characterful whites such as Sylvaner. You'll enjoy memorable experiences and gain a real understanding of the region's deep-rooted culture, traditions and flavours. By taking advantage of the optional extension you'll explore more of the local wine styles in the Valle dei Laghi (valley of the lakes) and gain insights into the current trend for resistant grape varieties in some of the region's loveliest natural contexts.

Days 1 – 2: Trentino

After arriving in VERONA, you’ll head north towards the stunning mountains of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site, to spend the first part of the tour among the wine areas of Trentino. You’ll start by exploring the Vallagarina area where Marzemino wines are made and, after a gourmet dining experience at TRENTO and a night in exclusive accommodation, you’ll discover the impressive history of Trento Ferrari and its sparkling wines. The journey continues with an in-depth tour at a long-standing family-run winery specialising in native red Teroldego and a panoramic tasting of the area’s wines at the regional wine cellar.

Days 3 – 4: Alto Adige

The northern half of the region, Alto Adige, is famed for its gorgeous mountains and lakes, appealing farmhouses, castles and abbeys as well as its tasty cuisine and its superb wines. You’ll visit leading producers of local red, Lagrein and other wines to gain valuable insights into the region’s wine scene. During this part of the tour you’ll also have a chance to visit the attractive and vibrant city of BOLZANO and enjoy the sublime traditional specialities at typical and gourmet restaurants.

Days 5 – 6: Optional Extension – lakes and mountains

With this optional extension you’ll explore the valley of the lakes and tour wineries specialising in white Nosiola and the typical local vino santo. While here you’ll have the chance to visit a distillery to try some of Italy’s best grappa and see where it’s made. You will also be able to explore the exclusive mountain resort of MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, enjoy gourmet food in a mountain refuge and try the new-generation of wines made with resistant varieties.
